Swans & Scones

And so today it was back into London bound for Fortnum & Mason. We started by heading straight to The Parlour for lunch. We couldn’t decided between a sweet or savoury lunch so decided at it’s Christmas, why not have both! I had a roasted vegetable and goats cheese panini followed by scones!

My mum had to try an ice cream cocktail. It’s Prosecco topped with Bellini sorbet – only £10 a glass!
After lunch it was time for a browse round the rest of the store which was wonderfully decorated as expected.

Isn’t it great they offered a bag for life with Florence & Mary’s initials!!
And last but not least… the Swan Lake inspired windows

  13. How lovely - I was only looking at their website the other day. I'm off to Harrods on Saturday, so would love a trip to Fortnum's.

  15. Got to love F&M. I shall whisper this, but I love it as much (if not slightly more) than Harrods. Am sulking with Harrods at the mo, wanted to order the Gorgeous one some of their red glittery 'Dorothy' shoes, but they've gone and sold out. Gits!

Thank you for sharing your piccies. That's as close to London Tahhhhn I get these days. Two weeks ago the husband went to the RHA to watch some tennis thing with his mum and some of her pals (in their 80's. Such fun!) there was no chance to shop, but he did take a photo of Big Ben and Harvey Nicks for me!!!!!!!!!!! boohoo!! That's just evil torture!
